CHICKY CHATTER CHICKEN

You will need:
Chicken thighs w/ skin and bones
(enough for the whole family)

1/2 tsp. Garlic salt per chicken thigh

Directions
preheat oven to 350℉

Arrange the chicken thighs evenly on an ungreased baking pan or in a cast iron skillet (my personal favorite).

Sprinkle 1/2 tsp. of garlic salt evenly on each chicken thigh, so that they are all lightly covered with the salt.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until juice runs clear.
Best served with green beans, Homemade Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Sweet Tea. YUMMY!!!




Homemade Garlic Mashed Potatoes

You will need:

5 large Russet Potatoes, washed, peeled, and diced
3 cloves fresh Garlic, minced
1 stick of Butter, room tempurature
Milk and/or Half and Half
Salt and Pepper to taste

Boil prepared potatoes in enough water to cover the top of them in the pan.
Cook until potatoes are easily pierced with a fork.

Use a colander to strain the water from the potatoes, then return potatoes to the pan after straining.
Add garlic, butter, and 1cup of milk and/or half and half.
Using an electric hand mixer cream the potatoes until smooth, adding only enough milk and/or half and half
to make the potatoes fairly creamy.
After mixing, stir in the salt and pepper to taste. Serve while still hot.Watch 'em go!!!
(For best results warm the milk before adding to the potatoes).
